Steve Miller is a versatile power industry professional whose career spans senior executive roles at Fortune 500 companies, top-tier law firm practice, and military service. As Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative & Governance Officer at X-energy, he oversees all corporate support functions, drives governance, organizational design, and strategic structuring initiatives and plays a central role in relationship-level engagement with strategic partners, investors and stakeholders. 

Following service in the U.S. Navy where he advanced to the rank of Lieutenant Commander, Steve launched his energy career at the D.C. firms of Dickstein Shapiro, and Miller, Balis and O’Neil, advising investor-owned utilities and public-power entities on complex regulatory and transactional matters. From 2002 to 2014, he served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Constellation Energy’s power generation and development businesses, leading the creation of several international nuclear joint ventures including UniStar Nuclear Energy. Before joining X-energy, Steve was a member of the energy practice in the D.C. office of Hogan Lovells, representing nuclear and emerging energy technology clients--including X-energy--on high-value corporate transactions and project development.

Steve holds a Juris Doctor from American University’s Washington College of Law and a bachelor’s degree from the Pennsylvania State University.
